Nomad.tv – new nationwide channel in Kyrgyzstan on-air with Azimuth Soft
A state-of-the-art broadcasting facility has been built from the ground up in Bishkek for a new channel broadcasting across Kyrgyzstan. Terrestrial digital, cable and internet viewers can now enjoy premium shows, original content and live news in several languages and brilliant FullHD. The news bulletins go on-air both from the high-tech main studio and a pop-up stage in the heart of the capital on Ala-Too square.
Azimuth Soft provided the software automating most of Nomad TV’s workflows. Ingest, MAM, news production, MCR and PCR playout, on-air graphics and more are powered by established Azimuth Soft solutions trusted by hundreds of broadcasters across the globe.
The server, storage and network infrastructure for this project was procured locally by our integration partner, giving the customer greater flexibility in managing its lifecycle.
The whole project was completed in less than 3 months, including the Professional Services we have provided, training the broadcasters personnel and adapting a branding and graphics package provided by a design studio in Bishkek. A bespoke solution allowing for native ingest and routing of protected SRT streams on Azimuth videoservers was also developed by customer request during this timeframe.
Central Asia is rapidly evolving, showing record growth and integration into global markets. We have several exciting projects coming up, and would be happy to discuss any opportunities with broadcasters and system integrators working in the region.
